Why Choose Invisalign?

Invisalign has successfully treated over 5 million patients worldwide – Forma has treated over 1100 of those clients since Invisalign’s launch in 2000. Celebrities such as Kloe Kardashian, Justin Bebier, Oprah Winfrey and many more have sucessfully had their smiles enchanced with Invisalign. We’re confident in the technology Invisalign’s clear braces provide, our clients are always satisfied with the outcome of their treatments and we’re confident you’ll love what Invisalign can do for your smile!

The aligners are 0.3mm thin, lightweight and clear, this means the patient can go about their without the irration or discomfort.  Invisalign also allows the patient the freedom to remove the clear aligners during the day. By removing the aligners you can have the freedom to enjoy your meals, dates, and time with your friends – but we recommend you keep your clear aligners in for at least 22hours.

I can’t say a bad thing about my experience with Raj at Forma. I decided to get Invisalignafter my partner recommended Raj. After a couple of years and I now have perfect teeth. Raj is extremely professional and friendly. I highly recommend. – Caroline B

How long does it take for Invisalign braces to work?

We can provide a 3D simulation almost immediately via iTero Scanning. Once we have reviewed the treatment plan we can order aligners and they will arrive usually within 1 week. We pride ourselves at Forma to make sure our patients are updated on the progress of their teeth positioning – so we recommend patients come in for a checkup every two weeks to make sure your clear aligners are working for them. As each aligner is moving teeth in increments most of our patient’s notice changes in their smile within 3 months.

Our usual patient treatment takes about 12-15 months. This is mainly because we do not treat mild cases or introduce tooth stripping to reduce treatment times. Tooth stripping involves creating spaces or cuts between teeth contacts in order to create space. We mostly have other means of making spaces with Invisalign.

How much does Invisalign cost?

Our Invisalign treatment plans start from £3000.

Frequently ask question about invisalign

No, you must take them out for eating.

No, it is impossible to chew gum as the aligners would get pulled out.

Yes, you can drink many fluids but not fizzy drinks or very sugary drinks; tea, coffee, wine etc. is all fine.

With usual foods and wine etc. they do not stain. But it has been known for Tumeric to stain some patients’ aligners.

Very rarely but as they are so thin and painless we do not think so. In fact speech can improve as you move your lips more.

No, the aligners do not hurt at all.

No but they are very difficult to see. The teeth look even whiter with the aligners.

In most cases yes they are and the aligners are virtually invisible and removable.

Yes they are easy to clean. Plus as you floss more often your gums are going to even healthier.

Dental movements can be similar for both fixed braces and aligners.

Fixed braces are known for root resorption because the forces are greater and can damage the roots. Invisalign uses lighter forces and thus very little risk of root resorption.

Yes they do and are then removed before retainers are provided

Yes, you do as retainers help teeth relapsing. Many of our new patients are actually patients who had fixed braces but did not have adequate retention.

No they should be replaced every 5 years; we offer 6 retainers for the 5 year period.

You can with Invisalign as we can make spaces between the teeth. Extractions are recommended by us for severe crowding or a large overjet.

For over 16 years, we started using them 15 years ago.
